On Sunday, November 17, a fast-moving storm caused multiple tornadoes in Illinois and Indiana, causing widespread devastation and loss. As part of our commitment to compassion and generosity, Rockford First is partnering with local churches and national relief organizations (such as Convoy of Hope), to offer much-needed assistance. We have been in contact with several people in the area and their biggest need right now is for immediate financial support to buy much needed food and supplies for those affected by the tornadoes. For now, we are encouraging people to make a financial donation here so we can direct funds immediately to the organizations that need it the most. We will continue to assess the situation and will let you know as the needs and our assistance strategy changes.

Aside from financial and physical support, we are asking for our Rockford Tornado-2First Community to pray for the families who have suffered loss as a result of these storms.

Thank you for being a church and community that cares.
