Dan Matlock is an Illinois native, having been born in Decatur and raised in Mt. Zion. As a graduate of Rockford Master’s Commission, Dan Matlock has had extensive experience ministering to and with young adults. At Rockford First, Dan serves alongside Taka Iguchi as Co-Director of theFORUM, sharing in directional oversight of the ministry, including once a month services and weekly life groups.

Prior to joining the leadership team of Rockford First, Dan worked at RMC as Assistant Director of RYI, a school assembly program. He then went on to direct Master’s Commission of Austin, and served there for 6 years before returning to Rockford as Discipleship Director for RMC, in addition to his role as Co-Director of theFORUM.

theFORUM has over 200 in monthly service attendance, and there have already been many salvations and baptisms since the start of the new year. Through theFORUM and RMC, which is shifting to focus.one in the fall, Dan is able to influence and impact individuals that feel called to their cities and communities.

He is actively influencing those that have or will have influence.

Dan and his wife Kelly have been married for almost 8 years, and have 2 kids with a baby on the way. Elena is 4, Jackson is 3, and the newest addition to the Matlock family is due to arrive in September.
